About Fiona ☆*:・゚

Fiona Kiefer is a senior at the University of Michigan studying Creative Writing and Organizational Studies with a concentration in Entertainment Industries. Her passion for storytelling began with her father's nightly bedtime stories, prompting her to begin writing her own stories in fourth grade, and sharing them with anyone who would listen. Her love of language, and desire to share it, is accredited to her father James Kiefer who passed in 2022. She has been featured in several publications including Vellichor Literary (2026), MASH Magazine (2023), Writer to Writer (2023-24), and Perspectives Magazine (2020). She primarily writes poetry about grief and girlhood in addition to journalistic stories. She currently serves as Editor in Chief of the Michigan Fashion Media Summit. Her love of connection also prompted her to join student leadership within her Organizational Studies Major as Event Planner.

Fiona just completed a semester in Florence, Italy, taking an acting class and studying Florentine literature and film. She is currently in the process of publishing a memoir and a collection of poems as well as writing a short film. Find more of her poetry on the Instagram account @bouquetofpoems_
